About Me

Hi i'm Amy and I have been a professional dog walker for over 11 years.

I have always been passionate about all animals and grew up with the family menagere including 4 Border Collies, 3 cats, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Budgies, Fish and 10 horses and ponies.

​

My first 2 dogs when I left home were Harley and Lola.  Harley was a complex rescue who challenged me to start learning about dog aggression, dog to human aggression, body language and calming signals.  This lit my fire and enthusiasm for learning more about dogs  in general and pursuing a career working with them.

I set up Amys Animal Allsorts 11 years ago and offered a variety of services including house sitting, dog walking, cat pop ins and pet taxi services.

Today I am mainly focussed on the dog walking side of my business.

​

In 2023 my gorgeous German Short Haired Pointer Aria joined my life and frequently acompanies on my daily dog walks. I have learned a lot from her as we have completed a variety of different dog training courses including puppy  and Novice Social Life Skills, Bronze and Silver UK Sniffer Dog Courses, Mantrailing and Cognitive Tricks and Skills.
