Dog Walking Terms and Conditions

NO DOGS will be accepted if it has or has had an aggression problem with people or other animals. NO DOGS under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 will be accepted

Group walk charges are limited to 4 dogs only, charged at £17 per dog for 45mins to 1 hour (weather/age dependant). 2 dogs from the same house hold will be charged at £30. Price of pop in visit will be charged at £15 for one 20-30 min visit and £25 for two 20-30mins in the same day.

In the event the weather is too hot for dogs to be safely walked you will be contacted and either a pop in offered or the walk cancelled altogether.

All data contained within this form will only ever be seen and used by Amy Burton no third party will be given any information.

Cancellation by the client is required to be made as soon as possible with regards to holidays and/or illnesses. A 50% charge of £8.50 per cancelled walk will be charged to the client to keep and hold your dogs place on their walk. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice then the full price of the walk will be charged.

In the unlikely event that Amy Burton should have to cancel a booking this will be done ASAP via the contact numbers provided by the customer.

Your dog should wear a collar and ID tag with your details on it. Amy Burton will add on one of her tags to your dog’s collar and/or harness, to ensure multiple contacts for your dog.

If you have given Amy Burton a key to your property to be used only as agreed when collecting and dropping off your dog. This key will be kept by Amy Burton at her residence and not passed onto anyone unless specifically asked to do so, or as pre-arranged with yourself should another walker be used to cover any holidays or absences.

Reimbursement for damage and/or veterinary costs incurred by your dog during its time in Amy Burton’s care, will be expected to be paid for in full within 48hours from the payment of said bill.

Whilst every care is taken to make your dog’s walk with me is a happy and enjoyable one, please note that all dogs are walked at their owner’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for sickness, injury, or demise of your dog.

No dogs will be walked while in season or if they are suffering from any infectious or contagious disease and/or illness.

The client consents to Amy Burton photographing/videoing your dog/s and using the images on her social media.

GDPR All information held on yourselves, your dog and your home are never passed on to any other third party and are kept safe.

All invoices must be paid within two weeks of receiving them. Invoices are sent out at the end of each calendar month directly to the client.

Transportation of your dog will be via Amys van which has been fully kitted out with Barjo crash tested crates for the safe transportation of all dogs in her care.

The number you give as your contact should be one you can always be contacted on. If you may have to turn off your primary contact phone, you must supply an alternate person that can be contacted in your absence.
a) You consent to Amy Burton consulting a veterinary surgeon should she in her reasonable opinion consider it necessary for the well-being of your dog(s); and to her acting upon the advice of the veterinary surgeon in the event that you or your Contact are not available.
b) You understand your dog will be walked alongside another dog or dogs that Amy Burton has picked up from other households. All dogs will have gone through a meet and greet, and no aggressive dogs will knowingly be walked with your dog.
